In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The mission focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Update
